James entered the world of financial services in 2002 and set up his own IFA firm in 2007. He subsequently grew and sold this business and then went on to work for a large discretionary fund manager (DFM), leaving as a Director after nearly a decade at the firm.
With a desire to offer a more modern and engaging way of working with clients and their finances, James launched Servo Private Wealth in 2019.
Following a career in accountancy, Kim began working in financial services in 2000. Since then, she has worked as both an Independent Financial Adviser and a Paraplanner (technical consultant), developing an instinctive understanding of the ways in which advisers, administrators and paraplanners can work alongside each other.
Named ‘Paraplanner of the Year’ at the 2013 Professional Adviser Awards, Kim is both a Certified Financial Planner and Accredited Paraplanner, as awarded by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), as well as being a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Kim continues to learn and maintain her skills to ensure she is able to rise to any challenges that her job may serve up.
Kim applies the full breadth of her technical knowledge and insight to her day-to-day job. She’s a regular contributor to the financial press, industry speaker/trainer and is an active member of the CISI Paraplanner Interest Group and Initiative for Financial Wellbeing (IFW) research committee.
Lorin is an approachable and personable member of the team. Lorin adopts a client-centred approach, priding himself on delivering excellent customer service with a can-do attitude and is now a fully qualified adviser having completed the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in 2020.

Vicki joined the team in June 2021, achieving her ambition to become a pure career paraplanner.
Initially starting her career as an administrator for a financial services provider she quickly realised that this was a profession she enjoyed, and which gave unlimited opportunities to develop. Since those early days, Vicki has witnessed considerable changes to financial services through the eyes of product providers, direct sales teams and independent financial planners. Vicki has a thirst for knowledge and has studied throughout her career and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2015 and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in 2020.
Working right across the financial services world, Vicki became aware that ultimately, the ‘paraplanner’ role was where she could give the most back to the profession. Enjoying delving deep into technical detail and helping to communicate these difficult financial concepts motivates her and provides inspiration to continually improve.
Outside of work, Vicki enjoys walking, running and gardening, especially if you can grow it and eat it. Ever an optimist, she is always looking forward to tomorrow and what may be in bloom.
Rachel joined the team in January 2022. Her career in financial services began in 2000 working with Lloyds Private Bank. During this time she undertook various roles including managing the business support team and ultimately gaining a level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and becoming a Paraplanner. In 2012 she left the industry to concentrate on raising her 3 children. Now that they are older, Rachel felt that the time was right to return to the Financial sector and put her knowledge and skills to work.
When she’s not busy being a Mum to her kids or little Greek rescue dog Callie, she loves to keep fit and has always enjoyed exercise and regularly attending fitness classes. She has a passion for running and has played in various netball teams over the years.
Will joined the team in January 2022. He is currently a professional cricketer for Sussex CCC and due to signing a reduced T20 contract, he has put his mind to what he wants to do in life when his cricket career comes to an end in the future.
Having studied Maths at A level, he has always had an interest in numbers. This aptitude for numbers and the skills he developed in his cricket career of teamwork, dedication and communication, blend nicely to working with clients in a financial capacity, specifically as a Financial Planner.
He has recently started studying for his CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the view of becoming a fully qualified Financial Planner, as and when he retires. Until then, Will is learning the ropes and shadowing the team to build his knowledge and experience outside the classroom, as well as building connections with prospective clients for the firm.
Outside of work, Will enjoys spending his time with his wife and young daughter, as well as being active out on his road bike or on the golf course.
